Q.

Hello Doctor My baby boy is 9 months old. He is in his teething process. This month he has got fever for the third time. Temperature is around 100. I Had noticed that fever is before the occurring of each teeth. So anything to worry about? Is it due to teething or it may be any kind of infection?

A. Hi usually kids suffer from low grade rise in body temperature whenever they undergo teething. it's a temporary condition and subsides after the eruption of teeth.. so don't be tensed and try to maintain proper hygiene around your child to prevent such problems

A. Hi mom Yes fever is due to teething. Give paracetamol to ur baby if the fever is above 100 F. Repeat the dose after six hours if fever comes again. Give ur baby teethers as they put pressure on gums and give relief to baby from pain and itching during teething
