Q.

Hello Doctor my baby boy is 6 month old. His appetite is very small he drinks only 90-100 ml milk at a one time in every 2-3 hrs. He is completely on formula milk since birth. Now We have also started feeding rice, vegetables soup and cerelac rice in breakfast. How to increase his appetite? Please give some opinion.

A. it's okay dear, keep offering milk on demand, and give solids. Baby food must be soft, properly cooked and easy to chew. Start with a very small quantity and slowly increase the portion. Weaning food must be a single grain food. Always feed freshly cooked food to your baby.

A. Hello mom Now you baby is six months old and once you start giving solids to your baby then it will definitely help in improving babies appetite so you should not worry about it at all. When babies are totally on milk then they don’t like to have it. Now you should definitely give at least four meals in a day
