Hello Doctor, My baby boy has difficulty in passing the stool each time. nothing much working out for him. can you prescribe some medicine to regulate his poop.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan dgxrops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should bed avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
