hello doctor my baby boy 4years he cant able to speak properly he can understand the words but he dont listen with mintue mintue he plays different game he cant sit at one place what should do plz reply mam

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present.d by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech xand development assessment. requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor.

Seems like your child is hyperactive that is why your child is having all these issues of not understanding in our speech and not sitting at a place properly so in this case I can advise you to 1st consult a child psychologist and then go ahead with a speech therapist if it is requiredWrite Your Answer Here
