SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, since your baby has completed one year you can start giving all type of food which you prepare at home. Make your own timetable so that you can cover different type of veggies, fruits, pulses are in a week so that baby get all the nutrients. Use ghee instead of oil and use jaggery instead of sugar. Give adequate liquid like buttermilk,fresh fruit juice, milkshakes, soups, water and keep your baby well hydrated.
You can try flashcards, wooden blocks, shapes which they enjoy and like to see things which are in bright colour you can also use hard books like first vehicle,first fruits, first vegetables. So you can start communicating with the baby. Instead of phone or tab ,books are the best practice to kids. Take your baby out For cycling or walking and expose your baby to sunlight.
