Q.

Hello doctor.my age is 22 and I have pcos with irregular periods.i didn't get my periods for 9 months.i consulted a doctor and she gave me meprate and cystop m tablets to get my periods.its 10th day of I stopped taking tablets.but still now I didn't get my periods.am so scared of my periods like it will be back or it stopped permanently?will I get my periods?

A. Hello dear The periods will come 10-15 days after you stop Taking the medications. So wait for 7-10 days after you stop the medications. Follow the protocol your doctor has advised

Mam your age is only 22 it cannot be a permanent stop to your periods I am sure there is some problem apart from that so I suggest you that you ask your doctor to go ahead with the further scanning like you can get a sonography done because that is going to reveal exactly what is the issue so don’t be disheartened I’m sure things are going to be okay but right now the most important thing is to find out the correct reason behind itWrite Your Answer Here
