Q.

hello doctor,my 6months daughter is fussy, sneezing often and has light temperature 37degree C since morning. Please advise

A. This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough.f It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat. For fever and pain give paracetamol Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and youc can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

A. So Since it is a minor things that you can go ahead with consulting your doctor otherwise if you have Calpol available at home then you can go ahead with giving that to the child because that’s the most mild medicine to be given to the child for fever
