Hello doctor. My 5 months old son is going stool in black colour , what could be the cause for it , sometimes it is fully black and sometimes it will be black and yellow colour.Recently started feeding solids ( cerelac, banana,sapota,mango). kindly let us know what is the cause?

Kirti ChandwalkerMom of 2 children4 years agoA. it is generally said that after completion of six months you should start giving other food than Milk but as you already have started you should give sufficient water also with other food than milk and in the beginning baby finds it difficult to digest so if you baby is not crying while passing stool then you should not be worried
