Hello doctor, my 4and half month baby always put her fingers in her mouth also ... whatever object comes in her hand she wants to take in the mouth...m breast feeding her...is that means ...she is hungry..sometime she shouts a lot ... should I give her solid food ..pls guide

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is only for months of age small babies will be putting fingers in the mouth as a stimulation for them it is not habit forming it is not a sign of hunger
