Q.

hello doctor ,my 3year old son hasn't vaccine influenza till now ..now can I give him the influenza vaccine ...if I give that how many dose should be given n wen to give pls suggest me .

A. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu inhifection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given afterd 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required . It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
