Hello doctor My 30 month old son was diagnosed with gastroenteritis a week ago..now his symptoms are going off but he is not eating anything..how many days he will suffer? He is hungry but not able to eat. what should I feed him?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Also check the oral cavity of the baby to see if there are any ulcers because of which the baby is not able to eat. Try giving bland diet with soft consistency and include fruits and fruit juices during this timeWrite Your Answer Here

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good afternoon I would recommend you to just be patient and wait for some time it will take a couple of weeks before you can expect the child to regain the appetite usually they lose their appetite when they are not well
