A. you will have to apply moisturizing lotion or cream more frequently and you can go for any good brand available in the market. you can apply the lotion after the child has been given a bath. avoid sunlight without using a sunscreen. see that the child is well hydrated. if it is still not improving after zapplying moisturizing baby lotion after 3 to 4 days please visit your doctor. any good brand like atogla, venussia, oliatum, sebamed , citaphil etc

A. A round patch on your child's chest skin could be due to several reasons, including eczema, fungal infections (like ringworm), or an allergic reaction. Here are some steps you can take: 1. **Keep the Area Clean and Dry**: Ensure the affected area is kept clean and dry. Avoid harsh soaps or detergents. 2. **Use a Gentle Moisturizer**: If the patch is dry or scaly, applying a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer might help. 3. **Observe for Other Symptoms**: Look for other symptoms like itching, scaling, or spreading of the patch, which can help identify the cause. 4. **Avoid Irritants**: Keep your child away from potential irritants, such as certain fabrics, soaps, or lotions that might exacerbate the condition. 5. **Consult a Pediatrician**: It's essential to get a professional opinion to diagnose the exact cause. The pediatrician may prescribe topical treatments or recommend further tests if necessary. If the patch shows signs of infection (such as increased redness, swelling, or pus), or if it doesn't improve with basic care, seeking medical advice promptly is crucial.
