hello doctor, my 3 months 10 days baby is on formula feed how much dose of vitamin d3 can i give to him currently am giving 0.5 ml daily.

A. Hello, I'm not a doctor but as of my knowledge vitamin D should be given to children upto 1 year of age and the dosage is as per the package, please read the instructions in the outer package of the bottle. For some brands it's 1ml others it's 0.5 ml. Also, give it at only noon. ( Optimal vitamin D levels are necessary to increase the efficiency of calcium absorption so please give the vitamin to child as per dosage instructions) If you are not sure please consult a pediatrician.
