Hello Doctor, my 14month old baby is suffering from fever since the night of 31st December. Her temperature rises at night upto 103degree, not eating solid, Urination normal.kindly suggest .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can alsioo do cold sponging of the body if required
