Q.

hello doctor, Mere bete ka age 18th month hai. Aaj usko morning se fever Hai. last check kiya Hai 103.2 . Maine medicine diya hai but woh vomit Kar raha Hai ...medicine kha nahi raha... oral k alava suppositories safe hai Kya?

A. yes safe hai de sakte hain after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis
