Hello Doctor, If Bilirubin is 13.8 is phototherapy required?

A. Hello Dr After the suggestion from Dr, we did phototherapy but the bilirubin report came 16.4. yesterday it was 13.8.So now they're saying to do phototherapy for another 24 hours. So why did it increase??

A. Thanks for your response. But as per dr suggested we did phototherapy for 24 hours and after that again when we did a blood test, the report came 16.4.Why it happened

A. You can get the phototherapy done if you want because the figure is not very high so if you want you can even skip but you should ultimately follow with your doctor advising as they can give you correct guidance on that
