hello doctor,I'm a mother of 10 month baby and I wanted to know about when I'll be getting my regular menstruation.

A. Periods after delivery may occur anytime in between one year and may remain irregular for a few months no medication is needed for that you just need to maintain good nutrition along with adequate water intake and use proper contraceptive method to avoid unwanted pregnancy

A. If you bottle feed your baby, or combine bottle feeding with breastfeeding, your first period could start as soon as 5 to 6 weeks after you give birth. If you fully breastfeed (including at night) without any bottle feeding, your periods may not start again until you stop breastfeeding, or until you stop night-time breastfeeding. This is because the hormone that causes your body to make breast milk can stop your body making the hormones that control your periods.
