Q.

Hello doctor…i have hypothyroidism before my pregnancy.my gynae had prescribed thyronorm 37.5 mg plus glycomet 500 mg ..glycomet to be take teice a day .i took it during my entire pregnancy as well..my weight redcued significatly and i gave birth to a healthy baby..my daughter is now 15 months olf.feeding her only twice a day..and consumes hardly 180 ml of pumped breast kilk..can i start taking glycomet with my thyroid medicines since my weight has almost tripled due to an increase in thyroid levels

A. since your baby is more than one year of age that is no problem you can continue to take the medicines as per your requirement and can give buffalo milk and cows milk
