hello doctor, i have a son of 3 years and a month old who has acute nose bleeds, local doctors suggest no measures so as to prevent it. do you have any suggestions?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. bleeding from the nasal cavity also known as epistexis.
during the initial bleedinxg episode you will have to press up on the bleeding area to stop the bleeding.
you can press some cold ice or cold cloth also to decrease the bleeding
after bleeding stops you have to make use of nasal salinex drops to keep the nasal cavity moist and also apply antibacterial cream (tbact) over the bleeding area for faster healing
