hello doctor I have 1month old baby he got white patches on body is it common in babies or any problem plz give me a suggestion

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity thens you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.

some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

Some white patches are totally normal and it get cure by its own next few days so you should definitely not worry about it at all. But if it is spreading all over babies skin then in such case, you should definitely consult with your doctor about it.
