Hello doctor..I delivered a baby on 25November,2019 by c sec..after 5 months my periods started and they were regular at an interval of 24 days but when i stopped feeding i.e. in November 2020 my periods are irregular ..also i started gaining weight from December 2020..ehat is the reason behind all this??

A. breasfeeding helps a lot to burn Extra calories soon. you can gain weight after delivery due to hormonal fluctuations. so its very important to continue breastfeeding till completion of two years
