hello doctor, I am sahithi..I have 1 year old baby boy..on 6th of thos month I tested covid positive..from that day onwards I am staying away from my kid..my kid does not have any symptoms he is active enough.. should we take my child to covid test?or not?we did not take him for his 1 year vaccination till now.. is it ok? yesterday I went for covid antibody test .. reports are fine.. kindly reply

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. covid test is not required for your baby unless and until if the baby is symptomatic try to maintain good hand hygiene you can delay the vaccines for three weeks after your artificial is negative you can be in contact with your baby and take for vaccination accordingly
