Hello Doctor, I am in 7 weeks 4 days pregnant. gestation period is 5 weeks 6 days. The doctor did an ultrasound and said the heart beat is just started, so they cannot detect and cardiac flicker is positive. Is it a good sign. I am just worried, Please clarify.

ExpertDr. Arva BhavnagarwalaPaediatrician6 years agoA. Hi. If the heart has started beating it is a positive sign. Not to worry. Do not stress and try to rest for a few days. The proper fetus would be visible at the 11th week scan.
