Q.

hello doctor good morning my baby is one month old now. here my worries about feeding. my wife gives him breastfeeding milk. but after having milk he cries . so sometimes she gives him formula during night times. day time she avoids formula. is it good to give him formula after having feeding

A. Hello there sir please do not worry about it too much. Please make sure your wife is getting enough breast milk. Please take Shatavari powder with milk twice a day to increase breast milk supply. Also feed the baby often which also helps in increasing breast milk supply. Masaage your breasts gently before feeding the baby. You can also use breast pump to take out milk which also helps in production of breast milk. Try to feed the baby for atleast 20-30 mins at one time. It is not advisable to give anything to the baby other than mother’s milk till the age of six months. Thanks and take care
