Hello doctor, good afternoon My son is 8 yrs old he is having fever and headaches since yesterday night, and I gave him a calpol 250mg. But still, he is having headaches plz suggest wat to do

A. there are multiple causes of headache in children and for immediate relief you can give paracetamol which is a good painkiller also. see that the child is consuming plenty of fluids because many times less waterd in the body can cause headache. the other common causes are nutritional deficiency as well as anemia and decrease sleep and more screen time if going on according to age. paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day but if the problem is occurring again and again please visit the doctor to rulef out any major pathology
