Rahul JainFather of a 5 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. lentils and pulses are best source of plant based protein and rich source of fibre, folates, iron and other vital minerals and vitamins. but few pulses like rajma should be soaked overnight and cooked properly atleast for 10 minutes in boiling water as they are bit toxic when consumed raw or undercooked.

Above one year completion you can start giving your baby all the healthy homemade foods that you daily prepare for your family. You can definitely give rajma and chana to your baby. Give in small quantities to check the suitability and for better digestion. Good luck and take care.
