Q.

Hello Doctor, Can I give Ibuprofen & paracetamol suspension ( FLEXON) to my 1.5 years old baby for DPT vaccine pain? Her weight is 9 kg. what should be the dosage now? The said medicine was prescribed by a pediatrician when she was 9/10 months old for pain due to fall from stairs. Should I also need to give Rantac syrup after consuming pain killer?

A. no. ibugesic shud b not given to babies so small. u shud target fvr reduction post vaccine not for pain. apply ice oack at the inj site so d f
