hello doctor...can acid reflux cause frequent hiccups in toddler? she has frequent hiccups past one and half month....how to reduce stomach acid?

A. thank you doctor...why acid reflux occur in my child suddenly? 60 days before she take zincovit and iron deficiency syrup...these cause acid reflux?

A. definitely acid reflux can cause hiccups as well as increased air formation as well as decreased burping can lead to more amount of hiccups.so you'll have to take antacids for reflex as well as do regular burping to decrease the chances of hiccups
