hello doctor, already taking folic acid 5mg tablets and dubagest SR 200mg prescribed by private doctor but now when I went to collect mother card in government hospital doctor prescribed me to take calcium and vitamin D3 tablets with folic acid and dubagest SR tablets.so i want to know is it safe to take during 16week pregnancy.reply me asap.thanks in advance #asktheexpert

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem .
they are safe if given by registered medical dpractitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor .
take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatmentd modification or any lab / radiological investigations.
