hello doctor 15th months old baby 4hours back his tempe4ature suddenly raise to 101.7 n his dad was suffered with typhoid since last 3days but he is in isolation bt today he just hug his son n now after few hours my son got fever is typhoid spread from dad to son how can i know n what i have to doo please tell me solution doctor .....

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line trgeatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can alvso do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
