Hello doctoe, can u pls help n guide me.. My son's blood tests shows vitamin d deficiency on which his paed advised to take Calsirol 60000 IU sachet once a week. he is 3 year old. is it safe to give it to kids? as its the same sachet which we adults tale so a bit confused.

A. yes it is totally safe and you can give you a kid according to your doctors advice and try to give daily early morning Sun exposure to the baby if not possible in early morning, you can just help your baby play In Sun for sometime during day

A. Calcirol 60000 IU granules are used to treat & prevent Vitamin D deficiency. It contains vitamin D3, which is also known as cholecalciferol or cholecalciferol. Calcirol sachet is also used as supportive therapy for conditions such as osteoporosis. The bones become fragile due to low calcium levels in osteoporosis.
