hello docter, my son is 6 month 20days old. he is on breastfeed and solids now, doing poop 2 or 3 days. today he is doing very hard poop having some blood traces. what can I do??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies.
you can give bonnisant drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should bfe avoided before 1 year of age

Give your baby easily digestible homemade healthy foods like homemade cerelac, mashed bananas, apple purée, ragi in small quantities. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice.
