Q.

Hello doc. what is standard amount of protein to be included in a child diet specially if child is vegetarian by choice. apart from paneer, lentils, pulses and any specific protein powder for kids? TIA.

A. depending on weight kids of this age need 15 to 20 gram of protein every day.. For todllers of this age, their protien intake be from homemade food like watered and pureed dal, cooked and pureed sprouts, beans, youghrt,tofu, paneer, soya.. than supplements.. still can give threptin biscuits
