hello doc my baby turn 9th month abd have vsd and asd both size is 10mm doc required surgery but did not mebtion at which age we get it plz give me some suggestoion

A. Most doctors recommend surgery to close large VSDs that are causing symptoms or haven't closed by the time children are 1 year old. Surgery may be needed earlier if: The child fails to gain weight. Medicines are needed to control the symptoms of heart failure.
