Q.

hello doc, my baby is one and half year old, he is not eating and drinking milk properly for past one week. I offered him variety of foods but he is not interested.

A. babies at this age have identity of self, express their needs, refusals. try finger foods. many babies are keen on that. try changing menu altogether, give chunkier foods. all these phases typically occur in babies, do not worry. give all mashed , chunkier foods ,fruits to your baby. keep the timings same as your meal and snacks times, so it will be easy for you to prepare and feed. see child's likes and dislikes. do not forcefeed.

A. hi check for teething , mouth ulcers, Indigestion, dehydration,worm Infection, nutritional deficiencies etc try to encourage your child by giving food as per his taste. give small and frequent meal
