hello doc my baby is doing poo 5-6 times a day and 3-4 times at night and which results in she is asking for milk again and again in a short time of around an hour only. is this normal for a baby or there is some issue and I need to get checked doc? please let me know asap

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for fixed feedingf pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
also if the weightf gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding
