Q.

hello doc, my baby doesn't take much intake of formula milk. she is on formula milk, but her quantity is just around 80ml per feed, and 7 feeds a day.. wat should I do she is 4 months old. please advice....

A. Try feeding frequently then. Babies under six months take on an average around 750 ml to 900ml per day split up into seven to nine feeds based on their appetite. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly. If not then try to increase the feed gradually. Also watch if the baby is gaining weight progressively. Keep a check on these factors.
