Q.

Hello doc.. is it ok to give calcium chewable tablets for 2 yrs and 4 months old? He bites and eats walls and wooden furnitures. Is there anything to worry about this?

A. most probably calcium deficiencymake sure baby gets sunlight exposure daily. maintain hydration and nutritious diet include milk curd buttermilk ragi cheese in diet , which are good sources of calcium Consult with your doctor for examination and treatment for the same

A. hello eating wall is usual due to calcium difficiency and it would be better go give your child calcium and vitamin rich food in the diet and also check with your doctor for the additional calcium supplements which can be helpful
