Hello all Can I give Ibugesic plus syrup to my 11 weeks daughter??

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Yes, can be given if baby is having fever. In fever, you should give plenty of liquids to the baby, in infants keep feeding the baby and after six months give other liquids as well. Give light and easily digestible foods. Give paracetamol drops dose according to the weight of the baby. Repeat the fuse after six hours. Check pee count of the baby, it should be more then six times. If fever remains fir more than 3 days then consult your paediatrician

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician7 years agoA. No better to avoid. Any temperature above 100 F is fever. Always measures temperature in armpits only. No need to give any fever medicine if fever is below 100 F. If asociated complaints like cough, cold, loose motion Treat that accordingly. Keep ur baby well hydrated. Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day.

Shilpa SalwanMom of 2 children7 years agoA. I would suggest you to please give massage with almond oil on the palms of hands and feet of your baby. Also you can do this home remedy. Take 2 bay leaves,a tablespoon of ajwain and 2 laung and heat them on a tawa till fragrant and turn little black. Then put this mixture in a handkerchief and tie a knot. Let it cool a bit till that level that the heat can be tolerated by baby. I would suggest exactly of the temperature you feed him milk with.Now use this warm mixture pack to give warmth on your baby's chest,back and near nose. In case the baby is not OK taking the warmth of it or is feeling uneasy it's ok . In that case reheat it and keep near baby's pillow. The fragrance will help give baby relief. Also if it persists please pay a visit to your pediatrician.
