hello, 9month scanning report shows that mega cistrna Magna 11mm... after we gone for baby head scan... mega cistena Magna is 12mm... is anything to worry

A. hi your baby is 2 months old now cisterna magna is a opening between two layers of cushion inside the skull bones.it helps to drain the cerebrospinal fluid and its size really doesn't matter much

A. Hello ma’am The regular margin is somewhere around 5 mm - 8 mm but even 10 to 12 is considered completely normal depending upon the child’s growth... It is a really very technical term it is very difficult to make you understand anything over here if you any kind of doubt relating to your sonography on all these things it Is always better to discuss all your doubts with your gynaecologist in detail at least you’re very sure about your situation in pregnancy as of now
