Q.

hello...2 months before my daughter diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia..so doctor prescribed iron supplements...after taking iron supplements she got gastritis...now gastritis lead to reflux problem in her...still now she has reflux problem...i take antacid for reduce her acid reflux....but im so worried...if antacid tablet reduce stomach acid...low stomach acid did not absorb iron in foods....so how can i do? if i stop the antacid? im worried about my daughter...

A. hi.. you can make a good diet for your baby to over come this ... try to give iron rich food items.. 1) spinach weekly twice 2) almonds, dates , dry fruits powder 3) beetroot soups or sabji alternative days 4) ragi or multi grain porridge hope this helps

Hello ma’am If it all has happened with the iron syrup that you are giving Then you do need to discontinue it and also please consult your paediatrician and once regarding the same because one syrup is leading to so many problems so you should go for some natural thing only rather than going for all these antibiotic medicines. You can go for full fledged homoeopathic treatment once regarding the same
