he has cold n cough from 1oct till 12th given dr prescribed medicines T minic ascoril ls and nebuluser inhalations . Now giving 3 times steam n turmeric milk oncs . Sincs yesterday he has mild couging so should i give something to him .

A. cold and cough may take up to one week minimum to resolve Cough and Cold should be treated ideally only after a proper clinical examination by a doctor.it may be any infective or allergic.it is not so related to food items like ba.nana etc.but seasonal changes may aggravate. .give steam and nasoclear drops can also be used multiple times. Cough Syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .medication by self is not advisable. if the cough is productive you can give kufril-ls syrup for now .avoid refrigerated items and give only simple home-made preparations as required.child will gradually begin to eat as symptoms resolve.
