Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
you have to consider it as fcever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. In the heat in the body can generate fever sometimes but head is generally going to be much hotter as compared to the other body parts which is fine so you can continue giving paracetamol every six hours to the child you can also do cold sponging to reduce down the temperature of your child’s body
