Q.
Has anyone tried little ginger water for 3 month old baby? Pls share your experiences. My mother in law wants to give some home medicines.I'm really worried about that.

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. no don't give ginger water to 3 month baby. it is not recommended to give anything other than mother's milk to the baby before completion of 6 months of age. if baby is having cough and cold you can try giving her indirect steam and apply some mustard oil heated with garlic ajwain Methi seeds filtered well and apply lukewarm on chest back soles of both feet and keep well covered

AmbicaMom of a 8 yr 2 m old boy7 years agoA. Hi. Hope u r well aware of effect of having ginger water. For experience u can drink a full glass of ginger juice n get the impact. Same will happen to ur little one even with frw drops. As u drink 8 litres of water per day apart from daily intake but ur little will hardly be having 600 ml to 700ml of whole intake. See the ratio n accordingly explain ur mothr
