Q.
hai sir /madam my 4 year old daughter was suffering from cold cough and fever ...for every 2 weeks in a month. ....we are consulting doctor every month...every time given syrups and antibiotics.... and her weight also decreased in these days.....after using those ... medicine....she is ok but after .2 weeks same problem occurs .... please suggest me if anything wrong with my daughter's health....or any tests are there....please ..tell me....

Author of questionGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. thank you sir...we are using nebulizer daily twice .. when cold and cough is there....if allergic to something ...how can we reduce that problem please suggest me sir....

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also give sinarest drops.cough syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the consugh is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple home-made preparations as required ,child will eat as symptoms resolve.
