Q.

Hai, my son is 1year old. Initially when I introduced solids he was very eager in eating and he almost ate everything i gave. I usuay gave him home foods only. No separate cooking for him. later when he started teething his interest in solids got reduced but still he ate a decent amount. But now for the past 2 months he refuses solids completely. Either he spits out or shuts his mouth tight. Mostly he is having liquid foods like porridge, juice & milk. Even if he eats he has only plain rice plain idly or dosa. That is no dal curry or chutney. He is formula fed from 10 months and 9kgs now. he has 6 tooth and 2 more is coming up. I really don't u understand why is he like this.

A. his weight is in normal range.. so don't worry too much it's very common... most baby do this.. after starting solid food, they feed it for 1-2 months very nicely.. then they become fussy eater... they found it very boring and lot of effort required to eat food.. so rather they want to feed only on milk. so they refuse to eat solid... so what you can do is... feed him a variety of options feed him away from distraction.. feed him while talking to him.. limit the milk intake.. rest don't worry too much it's just a phase.. it will pass too..
