Q.
Hai my baby is 1.5 month old ..i had c sec ...he is on formula feed only ...at the time of birth he has low sugar levels so doctor suggested to use nan pro 1 to feed 30 ml every hour for 2 days ..after that i got milk but he refused to latch due to short nipples ..i used nipple shield but no use ...i started pumping at 2 nd week and got 30 ml in 20 mins ..after that as baby started kicking on stitches while nursing due to pain i stopped pumping for few days ...after that i only get 10 ml for 30 mins to 1 hr .. so he is only on formula feed ...is it ok for the baby growth ...can i rebuild my milk supply please suggest

Nihita mittalMom of a 8 yr old boy3 years agoA. good evening it is not the best option to give the child on formula however there is no harm I would recommend you to try to definitely start and try lactating you can do that by massaging the breast taking some supplement
