Q.

hai my 11mnth old son s having fever from past 2days doctor advised calpol250mg every 6 hrs once after I give meds the fever is reducing to 98 later on its coming back to 101 within 6hrs I am worried what should I do please help

A. , your baby boy is 11 months old and he is having a fever so give him plenty of water and syrup ibugesic plus 2 ml three times a day so

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose afrs the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
