Q.
hai , I am 4 months old baby mother .. I have my body temperature 99.1 F from this morning with some body pains.. can I breast feed my baby and can I go for covid test???

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. you should go for testing, give expressed milk if possible take plenty of rest, plenty of warm fluids..
avoid cold weather. avoid unprescribed medicines if you are breastfeeding and if cold is manageable. try warm water, milk and turmeric, licorice.
consult doctor if persists
handwashing ,personal hygiene utmost important.

Temperature measured at mouht , if 100f or more , it's fever and Medication can be taken
You may breast feed her but with the covid appropriate behavior
Though you might not have the covid infection , better to get tested
