hai hello my 3 year kid is having loose motions and our doctor prescribed ofloxin syrup and super flora sachets his motion number of times decreased but when he gone to motion a bad smell is coming it is so hard smell pls help any

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. kindly give ors(oral rehydration solution) for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet fyour doctor.
also you cannot give outside milk and cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few dacys.
avoid giving sweet sugary food as well as maida and biscuits, chocolate, icecream, packet foods cerelac.
